Grand National Tales
Over the years the history of the Grand National has produced many tales. Some have gone down in folk lore and some have just been so remarkable that they must be true.
In this section of the site I am going to give you some of the many tales and also if possible some of the background to the tales. Because of the nature of these tales, that is to say that many will have been passed down
word of mouth the exact details often get confused. Whilst I have strived to reduce as many of the errors as possible and to try and get many facts I will not let the facts get in the way of a good tale, however I will try and give as much correction of alternative opinions of the facts as I can.
